Lesson Plans
  • Monologue Challenge # Students will be challenged to memorize and perform two contrasting monologues to demonstrate their ability to create contrasting characters and develop advanced vocal expression.  Contrast can be created through genre, use of dialect or accent, and/or subject matter.   Generally, the wider the contrast, the more successful students will be with this performance.
  • Constructive Criticism, Evaluation, and Feedback # Students will be filmed while doing a performance in class. They will then watch the video and evaluate their individual performances, as well as the class performance as an ensemble.
